Actual project pricing, materials, preparation requirements, installation methods, scheduling, warranties, and other project terms may vary based on the condition of the substrate, project size, environmental conditions, intended use, selected materials, design choices, and other site-specific factors.
A project is not considered accepted or scheduled until the applicable project terms have been agreed upon by FloorLabs Epoxy and the customer.
4. Site and Surface Conditions
Epoxy flooring and other coating systems depend heavily on the condition of the underlying surface.
Before installation, FloorLabs Epoxy may evaluate factors including:
Existing coatings
Concrete condition
Cracks and joints
Moisture levels
Surface contamination
Substrate integrity
Environmental conditions
Intended use of the finished surface
Mechanical grinding, crack repair, moisture testing, moisture vapor barrier protection, and other preparation procedures may be required to provide an appropriate foundation for the selected system.
Existing structural problems, active water intrusion, significant slab movement, foundation problems, or other conditions outside the scope of a coating installation may require additional work before a coating can be installed.
5. Project Results and Material Variations
FloorLabs Epoxy works to provide durable, professionally installed flooring and surface systems. However, the appearance and performance of a finished system can be affected by substrate conditions, temperature, humidity, moisture, usage, maintenance, and other factors.
Decorative finishes, including flakes, metallic systems, pigments, and custom blends, may exhibit natural variations in color, pattern, texture, or appearance. Samples and photographs are intended to provide a general representation and may not exactly match the final installed surface.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate project and contact information
Providing reasonable access to the property and work area
Disclosing known moisture, water intrusion, structural, or substrate issues
Removing personal belongings or items from the work area when requested
Following FloorLabs Epoxy's instructions regarding preparation, curing, and use of newly installed surfaces
Keeping unauthorized persons, pets, and vehicles away from active work areas
Following recommended maintenance and care instructions
Failure to follow applicable preparation, curing, or maintenance instructions may affect the appearance or performance of the finished system.
7. Curing and Use
Newly installed epoxy and coating systems require appropriate curing time before normal use.
FloorLabs Epoxy will provide project-specific instructions regarding when the finished surface may be walked on, exposed to vehicles, heavy equipment, chemicals, moisture, or other forms of use.
Customers should not use a newly installed surface beyond the limitations communicated by FloorLabs Epoxy. Improper or premature use may damage the coating.
8. Payments and Project Agreements
Payment amounts, deposits, balances, accepted payment methods, cancellation terms, project schedules, and other financial terms will be governed by the applicable project agreement, estimate, invoice, or other written documentation provided to the customer.
If these Terms conflict with a specific written project agreement signed or accepted by both FloorLabs Epoxy and the customer, the specific project agreement will control with respect to that project.
9. Referral Program
FloorLabs Epoxy may offer a referral program providing 5% cash back on successful referral jobs.
Eligibility, qualifying referrals, payment timing, and other referral-program requirements may be subject to program-specific terms and may change or be discontinued at FloorLabs Epoxy's discretion.
A referral reward is not earned simply because a referral is submitted. The referral must satisfy the applicable program requirements, including completion of a qualifying project.
10. Website Content and Intellectual Property
The content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, designs, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to FloorLabs Epoxy unless otherwise stated.
You may view website content for personal or informational purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission.
