Step 1
We begin with a thorough moisture assessment using digital meters or calcium chloride tests. This helps us determine if the concrete slab has elevated moisture levels, which can affect epoxy adhesion and long-term durability. If moisture is detected, we take appropriate preventative steps.
Step 2
Using professional-grade grinding equipment, we mechanically profile the surface to remove dirt, old coatings, and contaminants. This step also opens the concrete’s pores, allowing the epoxy to bond deeply for maximum adhesion and lifespan.
Step 3
Before moving forward, we address all cracks, holes, and imperfections. Using high-strength thixotropic patching compounds, we fill and smooth out the surface to ensure a level, seamless base — crucial for a clean, professional finish.
